http://www.goodkeywords.com Weather - NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Weather Service) Windows Vista, Are You Ready For It?
The Versions Microsoft delivered five different editions of the Windows XP operating system, but these different editions were aligned with specific types of PC hardware instead of with the different ways people use their PCs. For instance, Windows XP Professional Tablet PC Edition is designed for mobile PCs and supports handwriting recognition. Windows XP Media Center Edition serves as a hub for your home entertainment system. And Windows XP Professional x64 Edition enables the use of cutting-edge 64-bit processors. But what if you're looking for a single operating system that can connect to your TV, run on a mobile PC that supports handwriting recognition, serve as the hub of your home entertainment system, and take advantage of 64-bit performance and security? With Windows XP there is no offering that gives you this much flexibility.
The five different vewrsions of Windows Vista are designed to fit the way you intend to use your PC: More interesting facts . . . Microsoft was founded in January, 1975 and MS-DOS, Microsoft's "Disk Operating System" was originally released in 1981 and had eight major versions. The most revolutionary computer operating system ever was MS-DOS Version 5 released in June 1991. All "DOS" versions required cryptic prompt line commands, but version 5 introduced "MS-DOS Edit, replacing the very cryptic "Edlin" editing system that worked unseen in the background. "Edit" was a plain English" editor that suddenly turned the lights on in the world computing scene. Even prior to Microsoft's MS-DOS, other operating systems were around, offered by different companies. However, their success as compared to Microsoft does not need to be put into words. The first Microsoft Windows OS, Windows 3.0 arrived in 1991 and started the controversy between "DOS" users and "Windows" users. There never should have been a controversy because Windows actually required MS-DOS to function. The only major difference was that Windows was the first "graphical" appearing operating system. The second most revolutionary Microsoft Operating System was "Windows 95" which was basically a "stand alone" OS, not requiring MS-DOS. As far as computer history goes, the younger generation doesn't know much about MS-DOS. Almost everyone is aware of the evolution of Windows starting with Windows 95. Another interesting fact that is not so well known. Windows XP and now Windows Vista, each with a totally new looking appearance, can easily be configured to look almost identically like Windows 95. So if you were comfortable with the appearance of earlier versions of Windows, why change? You can stay with what is familiar. Just learn the new features that are available in Windows XP or Windows Vista. Many if not most most modern computer users are pretty much familiar with Windows 95 (or Windows 98 or Windows ME) because there was little difference among them. How? Very easy. On Windows XP or Windows Vista, first "right click" an open area of the task bar, not on any icon. Then "left" click on the "Properties" menu item. Then "uncheck" the "Lock Task Bar" box. Follow this by clicking the upper "Start Menu" tab. Finally, "check" the lower "Classic Start menu" box. Thats's it, click "OK" and you now have a Windows 95 menu system. Possibly you are entirely new to computers and you like the original menus, very simply reverse the operation. A few mouse clicks and even fewer seconds you can have it either way.

Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 handles XML, but renders it as CSS, and Mozilla (Netscape) is still in experimenting with XML support.
